Dr. Murugesan Arumugam, Dr. Jerad A. Suresh, Dr. Lakshmi Sundaram, and Dr. Satheesh Kumar, faculty members from the Faculty of Pharmacy at Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research, who founded the faculty startup RXTECH Pharma Pvt. Ltd., have developed a novel fast-dispersing thin film containing ascorbic acid for nicotine cessation and detoxification. The innovation has been granted an Indian patent, while the international patent is currently in progress.
