SRFOP organized a two-day workshop titled Enhancing Patient Care through Skill-Based Training

The Department of Pharmacy Practice, Sri Ramachandra Faculty of Pharmacy, SRIHER (DU), organized a two-day workshop titled “Enhancing Patient Care through Skill-Based Training: Therapeutic Drug Monitoring and Analytical Toxicology in Hospitals” on 28–29 April 2026. 

The workshop focused on Therapeutic Drug Monitoring (TDM), Analytical Toxicology, poison management, and chromatographic techniques. A total of 41 participants including Pharm.D students, research scholars, faculty members, and healthcare professionals attended the programme. Expert lectures covered analytical toxicology, poison management, plant poisons, TDM, HPLC, and HPTLC applications in healthcare practice. 

Hands-on training sessions provided practical exposure in colour detection methods, biological sample treatment, and chromatographic analysis of drugs and poisons. 

Scientific paper presentations encouraged academic interaction and research communication among participants. 

Participants appreciated the workshop for its informative sessions, practical relevance, and interactive learning environment. The programme successfully enhanced clinical, analytical, and research skills relevant to patient care and healthcare practice.
